New node administration interface

The Mosaic Validator Dashboard administration interface is now also available on nodes where blockchain finalization is behind or the chain component is temporarily unavailable.

Previously, the administration interface itself was also inaccessible in these cases. With the new functionality, the node status and available administration features can now be viewed even when the blockchain state is not up to date.

It is important to note, however, that operations that submit transactions to the blockchain still require a node with a synchronized, up-to-date chain state. If a node’s chain state is not current, these operations cannot be performed from that node.

For example, the validator’s chill command must be executed from another node with an up-to-date chain state in such cases. To do this, switch to a healthy node and click the Validator Dashboard button. At the bottom of the sign-in form, click the Chill! link. On the page that opens, connect the account that holds the validator NFT, then submit the chill command.

This change primarily improves the availability of administration and status monitoring, while operations that submit transactions to the blockchain still require the use of a node with an up-to-date chain state.
