LP3 Withdrawal

Information on the withdrawal and redemption process · Mosaic Chain

1. Purpose of this document

The purpose of this document is to explain the process of withdrawing and redeeming LP3 tokens: what an LP3 token represents, how it can be claimed to your own wallet address, and how it can be redeemed for Mosaic Coin and USDC.

It is important to clarify that LP3 tokens work differently from the earlier LP1 and LP2 tokens. LP1 and LP2 tokens were created on Binance Smart Chain and had to be converted there. LP3 tokens, by contrast, are created on the Mosaic Chain and operate within the Mosaic ecosystem.

This is why their withdrawal and their use are different, and why it is worth understanding exactly what they represent.

2. What does an LP3 token represent?

Tokens belonging to LP3 packages are subject to a two-year vesting period. The period always runs from the purchase date of the given package, so it expires at a different time for each package.

As a result, the same account may contain a package that is already claimable and another that is not. This follows from how LP3 works: for packages still in vesting, the interface displays the date from which the withdrawal can be started.

These tokens provide the liquidity for Mosaic Coin. Behind an LP3 token there is Mosaic Coin and USDC, but their ratio changes continuously.

Anyone who received an LP3 token did not receive a fixed amount of Mosaic Coin and USDC, but a proportional share of the Liquidity Pool. The LP3 token shows how large our share in that pool is. Whoever redeems it later receives the Mosaic Coin and USDC portion due to them according to the state at the moment of redemption.

The pool changes continuously, since users buy and sell Mosaic Coin. Therefore the exact amounts behind an LP3 token always depend on the current market situation.

All of this happens on-chain, so the process is transparent, verifiable and traceable in the Mosaic Explorer.

3. Preparation: the wallet

The developers recommend using SubWallet for the process.

It is important to note, however, that SubWallet is not the only wallet capable of handling Polkadot addresses. Others exist as well, for example Nova Wallet or Talisman.

The most important thing to know: a wallet address is not tied to a particular wallet application. If someone previously created an address in Mosaic Wallet, for example, they do not necessarily have to keep using that application. The address can be restored in any other wallet capable of handling Polkadot addresses, provided we have our own seed phrase.

4. Preparation: the seed phrase

The seed phrase, that is, the recovery phrase, is the single most important security element. It must always be recorded exactly, using the original English words and in the correct order.

If the browser automatically translates the words, it causes a serious problem, because recovery will not work with translated words. For this reason, automatic translation must be switched off while recording the seed phrase.

Before starting the withdrawal, it is worth verifying the seed phrase in a second wallet application installed from an official source. If the same address can be restored from the recorded seed phrase, then in all likelihood everything is in order.

If the restore does not work: that address must not be used, and no token or coin should be withdrawn to it.

If the seed phrase is lost or recorded incorrectly, no one can help. Neither customer support, nor the developers, nor the sponsor, nor anyone else can restore lost access.

The seed phrase may never be requested by anyone, under any circumstances. If someone asks for it on any pretext, it is to be treated as an attempted fraud. It may not be requested by customer support, a developer, a leader, a sponsor or a technical helper. The seed phrase is solely the user’s own security key: anyone who discloses it effectively hands over full control of their assets.

5. The withdrawal process, step by step

Withdrawal means that the token moves from the central system to our own decentralized wallet address. At this point the liquidity itself is not yet dissolved — the LP3 simply arrives at our own address, and from then on no one else has any control over it.

  1. Log in to the Novalus Prime web office.
  2. In the OnBoarding menu, select LP3 Claim.
  3. Read the information document about the withdrawal process.
  4. Connect the wallet.
  5. Verify that the correct wallet address has been connected.
  6. The system displays the LP3 packages and their status.
  7. If the two-year period has expired for a package, its Claim button is active.
  8. After starting the claim and accepting the declaration, the token moves to your address.

Three states can appear in the table: an active, green-bordered button (claimable); a date instead of a button (still in vesting); and a grey, inactive button with a shield icon and a VIEW link (already claimed).

6. How long does the withdrawal take?

Processing a withdrawal request typically takes a few minutes.

Whether it has been completed can be checked in the web office: the state of the row changes, the button becomes inactive, and the shield icon appears with the VIEW link. The wallet’s token list is not a suitable confirmation here — the reason for this is explained in section 8.

If the state of the row does not change within a few minutes, refresh the interface using the circular button above the table, and check the connected wallet address.

What not to do: do not restart the withdrawal, and do not connect a different wallet address. The request may still be running, and the two operations can collide, or the token may end up at an address other than the intended one.

If it still does not change, it is recommended to contact customer support — it is worth providing the wallet address and the details of the package concerned.

7. What if the withdrawal button is not active yet?

If the two-year period has not yet expired for a given package, the withdrawal button will not be active.

In this case the system displays the date in the Status column from which that LP3 token becomes claimable. Once that date arrives, the button becomes active and the process can be started.

8. Why is the LP3 token not visible in the wallet?

After the withdrawal, LP3 does not appear as a separate item in the token list of SubWallet — or of any other wallet. This does not mean that the withdrawal did not take place.

LP3 is not a conventional, standalone token such as Mosaic Coin or USDC. LP3 represents a share in the MOS/USDC liquidity pool, which the Mosaic Chain handles as a separate asset type. A wallet’s token list enumerates conventional tokens, which is why LP3 does not appear there.

The withdrawal can be verified in two places:

  • in the web office: after the withdrawal the button becomes inactive and the shield icon appears with the VIEW link;
  • in the Mosaic Explorer: the transaction itself through the VIEW link, and the share held in the pool on the Assets → Liquidity pools screen.

The Mosaic Chain is not an EVM-based network, so there is no token contract address in the usual sense that could be used to add LP3 to a wallet. LP3 is registered in the poolAssets registry, with index 2.

Caution: if anyone suggests manually adding an “LP3 token” to your wallet based on a given address, treat it as suspicious. Real LP3 does not work that way, and such a request can lead to enabling a scam or counterfeit token.

9. Redemption: from LP3 to Mosaic Coin and USDC

Anyone who no longer wishes to hold their asset as LP3 has the option to redeem it.

This is no longer done in the Novalus Prime web office, but in the Mosaic Explorer, on the Liquidity pools tab of the Assets menu.

During redemption the LP3 is dissolved, and the user receives the Mosaic Coin and USDC amount currently due to them. After that, everyone can decide for themselves:

  • keep the Mosaic Coin,
  • keep the USDC,
  • convert Mosaic Coin into USDC,
  • or convert USDC into Mosaic Coin.

It is an equally valid decision not to redeem and to leave the asset as LP3, that is, in liquidity.

10. Keep it or redeem it?

There are two aspects to keeping LP3.

One concerns the ecosystem: the greater the liquidity, the stronger the signal to the market. A pool with higher liquidity indicates a more stable ecosystem and is less vulnerable to speculative price movements.

The other is personal: as long as the value behind LP3 is working in the Liquidity Pool, the fees from transactions in the pool may increase the value of LP3.

This is not a guaranteed yield. The composition of the pool changes together with price movements, so the value behind LP3 can not only rise but also fall — possibly to the point where the combined value of the Mosaic Coin and USDC received at redemption is lower than at any earlier time.

Keeping it is therefore neither an obligation nor a recommendation, but an option. Everyone can decide for themselves whether to keep LP3, redeem it for Mosaic Coin and USDC, or manage their assets in another way.

11. Is there a deadline for LP3 withdrawal?

There is currently no fixed deadline, and the interface remains available in the web office.

At the same time, from a general security perspective it is advisable to keep assets in one’s own decentralized wallet. Those who can already withdraw their LP3 tokens may therefore want to consider claiming them to their own wallet address.

12. Is there a withdrawal fee?

No Mosaic Coin or other token needs to be held at the specified wallet address in order to withdraw LP3. The network fee for the withdrawal is paid by the system on our behalf.

It is important to note, however, that if we later want to perform further operations — such as redeeming or sending elsewhere — some balance may be required in the wallet.

Thanks to the fee payment module, Mosaic Coin is not necessarily the only asset that can be used to pay fees: in certain cases USDC, USDT or DOT may also be used, while in the background the system converts the selected asset into Mosaic Coin and the fee is paid that way.

13. Where can the pool status be checked?

The current status of the Liquidity Pool can be checked in the Mosaic Explorer, on the Liquidity pools tab of the Assets menu.

mainnet-explorer.mosaicchain.io

There you can see, among other things, the size of the pool, the amount of Mosaic Coin and USDC in it, the current ratios, additions and withdrawals, as well as related transactions. This ensures that the operation of LP3 remains transparent and verifiable.
